How long does a custom build take? The timeline for a signature instrument typically ranges from 30-45 days (including shipping time). This allows us the necessary time for precision woodworking, specialized finishes, and the careful curing of tonewoods to ensure lifelong stability and playability.
How long will it take to receive an "In-Stock" Guitar? 2 Weeks! Although the designs already exist, our "In-Stock" guitars often require some hardware installation. From the time you place the order to the moment it arrives at your doorstep, we offer a two-week turnaround.
Can I provide my own artwork or graphics? Absolutely. Whether it’s corporate branding, personal sketches, or abstract doodles, we specialize in translating your visual ideas onto the instrument. During our collaboration phase, we will discuss the best application methods to ensure your art looks stunning and remains durable.
What is the difference between the Foundation and Specialized Upgrades? The Foundation includes our high-standard professional specifications (premium woods, hardware, and electronics). Specialized Upgrades are specific departures from these standards—such as a rare figured-maple top, boutique hand-wound pickups, or intricate pearl inlays—that require additional sourcing and labor.
Is my $500 deposit refundable? The deposit secures your place in our production queue and covers the initial design and consultation hours. While it is applied toward your final balance, it is generally non-refundable once the specialized sourcing or physical work on your instrument has begun.
Do you ship instruments, and how are they protected? We ship worldwide using specialized, climate-controlled packaging. Every custom guitar is housed in a premium hardshell case to ensure it arrives in the same perfect condition it left our Central Oregon workshop.
What are the shipping costs? We have customers worldwide, so our shipping costs vary depending on location and the speed of delivery chosen. If you're in Bend, Oregon, (or you want to take a vacation to this gorgeous city), local pick-up is recommended.
Can you build a guitar based on a specific neck profile I already love? Yes. We can often replicate the feel of a favorite instrument. During the design process, we can discuss dimensions and "carves" to ensure your new custom guitar feels like an old friend the moment you pick it up.
